2 Morzine Airport Transfers is the trading name of SC Holiday Solutions Ltd. These terms and conditions refer to our provision of airport transfers.
2.1 The following terms and conditions form the basis of a contractual agreement between Morzine Airport Transfers and “The Group”. Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations.
2.2 “The Group” refers to all persons in the booking, on whose behalf the “Group Leader” is responsible, and also includes any subsequent changes of names to the original booking.
3.1 The first named person on the confirmation email will be deemed as the “Group Leader” and will be responsible for all communications between “The Group” and Morzine Airport Transfers. He/she“ must be
over 18 years of age and be authorised to make the booking on the basis of these terms and conditions by all persons on the booking.
3.2 A binding agreement will come into existence between Morzine Airport Transfers and the “Group Leader” when we issue our confirmation email/invoice and your deposit or balance is paid. Any details discussed during the booking process (before an invoice/confirmation is issued) by Morzine Airport Transfers and the ‘Group Leader’ will be agreed during the booking enquiry process and written confirmation will be issued for you to check before paying your deposit or balance. Please contact us immediately if any information on your confirmation invoice or any other documents appears to be incorrect or incomplete. We will then agree amendments and any additional costs before sending you an amended invoice to check again before paying your deposit or balance. Any request made after the issue of your invoice will be a request only unless the request is confirmed by Morzine Airport Transfers and added to your booking before paying.
5 PAYMENT & PRICING
5.1 Full payment of your services is collected by our secure online payment system by card, at the time of booking. Only completed bookings with successfully cleared funds will start your agreement with us. If the payment process is not completed then you do not have a booking.
5.3 We accept all major credit cards.
5.4 Payment will be taken in GBP.
5.5 Once payment is made you will receive a confirmation email with all of your booking details. If you notice anything that is incorrect then please contact us immediately.
5.8 Morzine Airport Transfers reserves the right to amend the advertised prices at any time. We also reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices.
6 CANCELLATION & CHANGES BY THE CLIENT
6.1 If the booking is cancelled by the client after a confirmation email has been issued by Morzine Airport Transfers then you have 24 hours to cancel for a full refund. However, if the date of your booked transfer service is within 7 days then upon cancellation, no refund will be given.
6.3 Cancellations must be confirmed by email from the email specified during the booking process.
6.4 Should you wish to make any alteration to your confirmed booking you must notify Morzine Airport Transfers as soon as possible in writing. We will endeavour to accommodate your request but this may not
always be possible.
6.5 If you fail to arrive at the airport on your specified flight then your booking will be considered cancelled and no refund will be given.
7 CANCELLATION & CHANGES MADE BY SNOW CANDY
7.1 If, through unforeseen circumstances, we are forced to cancel your Airport Transfer, a full refund is payable.
7.2 This is not the case if the cancellation is due to “Force Majeure”. For the purposes of these conditions, Force Majeure means any event which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control.
8 SPECIFIC TERMS RELATING TO MORZINE AIRPORT TRANSFERS
8.1 These terms relate to transfers using Morzine Airport Transfers own minibus service only. At times we may need to outsource your transfers to a third party. In such cases you agree to be bound by their terms and conditions.
8.2 Morzine Airport Transfers endeavours to get you to the required destination even if you are delayed and we will not make a surcharge for delayed flights. If delayed by more than 1 hour, it may be necessary
to outsource your transfer to a third party at no extra cost. Details of this will be made obvious to you upon arrival.
8.3 If your flight is cancelled then we are unable to refund for your airport transfer. Your insurance policy should cover this.
8.4 You absolve Morzine Airport Transfers of any responsibility or liability in respect of any child seats, booster seats, or other seating equipment supplied by Morzine Airport Transfers and accept that such equipment is
inspected by and fastened securely by a parent or guardian of the user and is used at your own risk. Morzine Airport Transfers may not be held responsible in any way for any injuries sustained whilst using
10 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1 With the exception of death or personal injury of guests, Morzine Airport Transfers’ liability is limited to the invoiced service cost and under no circumstances extends to the additional costs incurred by
10.2 We cannot accept any responsibility for any delays you incur whilst travelling.
10.3 All personal items belonging to “The Group”, are “The Groups” sole responsibility. We accept no liability for any loss or damage to such items.
11 CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY & BEHAVIOUR
11.1 Morzine Airport Transfers reserves the right to recover the entire cost (or estimated cost if an actual cost is not yet known) of any loss, damage or breakage caused by any member of “The Group” before you
depart the vehicle. Settlement will be made by way of instant cash payment for the said damaged item. Sick bags are available on request. If any member of the group is sick without a sick bag then the minimum charge is £50.
11.2 Morzine Airport Transfers reserves the right to terminate the booked service, without compensation or further obligation if it is deemed by us that any member of The Group behaves in such a way that is
disruptive, unsociable, abusive or unacceptable to ourselves or other guests.
12 GUEST COMPLAINTS
12.1 In the unlikely event of a problem occurring on your transfer, any complaints should be made immediately to us. Complaints cannot be accepted for snowy or icy road conditions, as this is normal for the area of the service. All vehicles are fully equipped for such conditions.
13 SPECIAL REQUESTS & DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
13.1 Please specify any “special requests “The Group might have (allocation of front seat) or any other requirements you consider important, at
the time of booking.
13.2 We will endeavour to meet special requests but cannot guarantee to do so. Special requests do not form part of the contract and we will have no liability if they are not met.
15 LOST & STOLEN PROPERTY
15.1 Guests leaving property within the vehicle at any time, do so at their own risk. Morzine airport Transfers does not accept responsibility for items lost and not recovered or returned. Nor do we accept responsibility for theft of property during your transfer
18 DATA PROTECTION
18.1 Morzine Airport Transfers will only use personal information provided by you for the purpose of booking services and activities, unless you agree otherwise.
19 TERMS OF CONTRACT
19.1 These Terms and Conditions will be subject to UK Law and the UK courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the Contract.
